Gutierrez Comes Out Firing
Strasburg was able to sweep county rival with help from the hot hand of senior Jason Gutierrez. Gutierrez scored 32 points, including four three-pointers to lead the Rams to a 64-53 victory. The win evened Strasburg’s record to 7-7 (2-4 Bull Run) for the year.

Mat Eagles Hold Off Rams
Clarke County High School’s lightweights came up big for the Eagles in Wednesday night’s Bull Run District dual match with Strasburg. Chris Kelley, Jason Jenkins and Brett Childs capped a five-match win streak as the Eagles escaped with a 35-24 victory over the Rams. “That was a very good high school wrestling match,” said Clarke County coach Jon VanSice. “It was a good dual meet.”
